Dark Days Challenge

21 10 2007

A little slow on the starting line as usual, I thought Laura’s idea was great and signed on, but then didn’t manage to blog meal specifically about it. Better late than never!

I’m not going to impose any rules since the premise is how we’re trying to live anyway – every day and every meal. Some days are better and some don’t succeed at all. Naturally, I’ll just show off the successes. :D

Dark Days Challenge Meal #1

This was from last week, oh geez, actually the week before, according to the timestamp Oct. 9th. It was dark and challenging then too, here. ;) Tenneson Family Farm ham steak (~25mi), Ozette potatoes (0mi), green peas (7.5mi). Butter (from the freezer and the infamous Aurora dairy), flour, salt and spices variable. A local-ish blue plate special.

I’ll try to keep up! :)
