Part of the way up (or down, depending on your origination) Chuckanut Drive right at the sharp nearly 270°turn you’ll find the lovely Oyster Creek Inn. A little rich for the pocketbook? Look carefully and you’ll see a large sign and a small road leading down to the beach and to Taylor Shellfish.
At their Samish farm they grow Pacific oysters amongst others. The store has oysters, clams, crab, and various other seafood and shellfish.
These were cooked with a saffron cream sauce which was sopped up with some Breadfarm baguette! Guess I should find out where I can get some local crocus pistils. 😉
